We recently announced to our newsletter subscribers that we are sponsoring the recumbent race at Overdrive Race & Relay, on October 30, 2016. If you don’t know already, this is an on- and off-road riding and running event held at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (previously Mosport), near Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The event itself only began last year and we are thrilled that a recumbent race has been added to the schedule for this year. The event director is excited at the prospect of also seeing recumbents enjoy this unique opportunity here in Canada, riding on an F1 track. Bikes and trikes, handcycles, velomobiles - all kinds of recumbents are welcome.
Registration is already open and the current prices are good until April 15, when they bump up. Keep watching their website for news and updates - we will also share anything more that we hear about the event.

Reverse Gear shall be in attendance for the day - not only to take part in the race but we will also have a booth or table where you can check out some of our products, chat and generally hang out with other ‘bent enthusiasts. Let’s show what recumbents are capable of and establish this as a recurring event in Canada. We hope to see plenty of you there.
